Why did Perfumerías Unidas become SENTUA?

It all started with research. We needed to understand how current and potential customers perceived the brand. That’s when we realized the name fell short—because they no longer sold just perfumes, but an entire universe of beauty. The brand also felt outdated and needed a refresh to widen its audience and connect with a younger generation that didn’t feel represented.

SENTUA wants you to look good, but also feel good, and that had to be reflected from the name to the visual identity and ultimately the experience. The name comes from the idea of “finding your own essence; feeling good about yourself.” Defining the brand personality was key: we wanted it to be elegant, forward-thinking, and empathetic—and we found in the color green a great opportunity for differentiation.
